This A/C UL adapter-operated, generously sized wheelchair/platform scale is multifunctional: for weighing patients in care, for especially heavy patients, or for weighing persons in a wheelchair. It is especially useful for seated patients, such as during dialysis. The flexible cable remote display can be placed wherever it is most comfortable to read off the result and to operate the controls, e.g. on the desk. A wall mounting is also provided. Transport castors and handle make the seca 674 flexible and mobile.

For example, patients can be weighed sitting in a wheelchair or on a chair. Frail patients or patients who have difficulty walking have the possibility of using the railing as support. When no longer in use, the seca 676 can be folded together in no time at all, thus saving storage space. The firm locking device between the railing and platform ensures that the scale stands safely also when folded together. When folded together, the railing serves as handle – making it effortless to move and store away the seca 676 on the smooth running transport castors. The pre-TARE function with storage space for three additional weights such as that of wheelchairs guarantee the simple and reliable ascertainment of the net weight.

Facilitates safe weighing while standing, sitting or in wheelchair – without having to be converted: when standing the patient is supported by a stable handrail, when sitting by an integrated folding seat and in a wheelchair by a large platform (31 x 38") – the weight of the wheelchair is simply tared away by the pre-TARE function. Special attention has been given to making the scale easy to access, a stop barrier for the front wheels of the wheelchair is an additional safety feature. The weight is easy for patient and care giver to read from the swivelling display mounted at a convenient level, reliable net weight determination in spite of added weight with the TARE and pre-TARE functions. With the practical transport castors and the integrated handle, the scale can be moved around easily and can thus be used in different locations. The cable remote display, which can be wall mounted or placed on a table, can be operated intuitively and is equipped with many intelligent functions: for example, thanks to the HOLD function, the patient can first be attended to before making a note of the result. The pre-TARE function ensures the reliable ascertainment of the net weight by simply deducting the weight of the stretcher or wheelchair.
